Calendar and Songs

 All ladies: I need songs from everyone for our team cd. Send me one or two, since there are only 11 of us right now, we can put at least two songs on the cd depending how long the songs are.

Bowling Team

If anyone would like to become a member of the Striking Kngihts or Striking Lady Knights bowling team. Please give Coach Pat a call at 407-384-0003 x11.

Men should have a 190 or better average

Women shoudl have a 180 or better average.

The teams are both very competitive and alot of fund raising, practicing and traveling is involved.

3 per team - $10.00 per week - handicap - Team Members may not bowl with other team members.

Bowl Every Wednesday night this semester - 1st Half

Spring Semester is the 2nd Half.

Congrats to everyone who made team. Both the men's and women's teams this year will be outstanding. Lets keep up the hard work, and it will pay off at Nationals. See everyone on Tuesday for practice!

Tuesday Practice

Tuesday And Thursday Practices are starting today!!!! The Men and Women team will practice at boardwalk at 3 and practice will last till 5.

All Ladies need to bring their notebooks, class schedules, and ball sheets.

Men need to return their ball sheets today as well.

Tryouts

Day two of tryouts and everyone is starting to get a feel for the team. Yesterday, during the first day, we bowled on a house shot. Everyone felt comfortable. Today was a little different. The shot was 44 feet and some of the members started to struggle. Everyone started to feed off of each other and learned to help each other. Even the guys are starting to feel the bonding of the team. The guys are even helping some of the girls and giving advice. This should be a great year. Just a few more weeks of tryouts and we should be a set team :)

Bowling Rocks at UCF!!

Welcome to the official site of the Striking Knights at the University of Central Florida!  From the initial creation of this club in 2001 with approximately 20 members, it has grown tremendously in it's 5 year span with now a total of 100 members plus.  We have both a ladies and mens team that competes in about 8 tournaments throughout the season, with our last stop always aspiring to be the National Championship.  Fortunately, that aspiration has came true more than once for both teams.  We are always looking for new faces to join both our traveling team and club league on Wednesday nights at Boardwalk Bowl.  Do you need to know how to bowl you ask?  No way!  This league is a fun opportunity for UCF students and friends to get away from the books and have a worry free night of bowling.  Come and join us!
